Located in Midtown Cleveland, The Madison is a clean, bright white warehouse space boasting over 10,000 square feet of useable event space which can be transformed into the venue of your dreams. Built in the early 20th century and originally called The Republic Brass Co., it was purchased in 2018 by Chris and Brooke Jesperson. It immediately underwent major construction which created a modern chic, blank canvas that hosts events of up to 1,000 guests. The venue is broken into two indoor event spaces. The main room, which is 7,000 square feet, can host 450 guests for a seated event for 1,000 guests for a standing event. The Foundry Room, which is about 2,500 square feet, can accommodate a 150-person seated event or a 300-person standing event. In addition to the indoor spaces, The Madison has an outdoor patio space which is great for smaller on-site ceremonies, cocktail hours, and networking events.

The Madison also offers two private suites on-site for client use. There is a spacious kitchen with a three-compartment sink, though all other catering equipment would need to be brought in which Lasting Impressions Event Rental could easily provide. These rentals could include electric hot boxes, ovens, refrigerators, or anything else your caterer might need to bring your menu to life. Fully renovated eight-stall bathrooms provide your guests a convenient place to freshen up throughout the evening.

With so much blank space, The Madison truly allows for clients to transform the venue into their wildest dreams come true! The venue has a list of recommended vendors that they offer to clients as a starting point in the planning process. These vendors, like Lasting Impressions, are familiar with the space and are professionals at everything they do. Any licensed caterer or food truck can be used in the space, but the bar and bartenders must come from The Madison as they own the liquor license for the venue. One of the current trends that we are seeing is customization, where couples and events are “branding” their events to create a memorable experience for guests using personalized logos, gobo lights, bars, and guest favors. With a deep selection in a variety of furniture and décor, Lasting Impressions can help bring imagination to life with the whole room design or Lounge vignettes perfect in creating Instagrammable moments for guests to capture and share the event in real-time.

In addition to the space itself, The Madison can provide clients with up-lighting, on-site custom bars, tables & chairs, free Wi-Fi, car valet, and City of Cleveland Police for security. Recently due to COVID-19, the venue has upgraded its ventilation system to hospital-grade filters and is now providing hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue. There are also two street-level garage openings, making it super easy for vendors like Lasting Impressions to load-in all of the special items not provided by The Madison. The ease of bringing things in and out makes customizing the event space that much simpler!

The Madison recommends that clients start touring venues as early as possible and have an idea of the time of year/date that they want their event to take place. Booking your venue early spreads out your deposit schedule nicely and allows you to book the vendors you want with better ease and makes the planning process a little less stressful!
