Bernie Hyland began his career in tenting with Aable Tents in 1979. 
He was hired as a seasonal tent installer and returned every year to work over his summer break while in college. After graduating from Ohio University, Bernie moved into sales for Aable.
In the early 2000’s, he became the general manager and was the impetus for bringing Clearspan tents (structure) to Cleveland for the first time.
Early in 2016, Bernie came to work for Lasting Impressions Event Rentals as our resident tent expert. Regularly attending national tent educational and trade conferences, he is continuously at the forefront of the industry, bringing innovative ideas and the latest product knowledge, installation techniques, and safety practices to our company and customers. A great teacher and mentor, Bernie regularly consults on large tent rentals for our Columbus and Cincinnati operations.
With his vast knowledge and decades of experience, Bernie can recommend the right tent for any situation, no matter how challenging the installation or job site.

Clearspan Structures

These are our hardest working tents with a plethora of advantages. With tenting regulations and permitting becoming more and more stringent, Clearspan structures are quickly becoming the tent of choice – and necessity – for many events.

High Peak Pole Tents
The Lasting Impressions Group offers the most extensive selection of high peak pole tents in Ohio. We carry single-pole varieties in 30’, 40’ and 50’ as well as twin pole styles in 60’, 80’ and 100’ widths. The dramatic, sweeping peaks provide a beautiful and striking interior and exterior. With minimal interior poles spaced well apart, there is ample space in these tents for open floor plans, large dance floors, and stages.

The Stillwater
Always on the lookout for exciting, new products, Lasting Impressions added the Stillwater tent to our inventory several years ago.
What sets this nautical-inspired pole tent apart is the translucent top (often referred to as a “sailcloth” top), the rounded ends and the striking wood/faux wood finished center and side poles.
Another exciting feature is the ability to create round tents by building just the two ends together.
We offer 3 different sizes in the Stillwater series: 32’, 44’, and 57’ wide.
Traditional Pole Tents
Lasting Impressions also carries traditional pole tents, many times known as festival tents. These tents employ both center poles and quarter poles, creating a festival or circus feel, especially with the options of striped tops in several different colors and sizes.
Traditional Frame Tents
Bernie is not quite ready for a swim but loves the way this 15’x20′ Frame tent turned out for this bride’s special day.
An industry standard and exceptionally versatile, these are often the best choice for small to medium-sized events, walkways, and catering or service areas.

High Peak Frame Tents

These tents combine the open interiors of frame tents with the eye-catching peaks of a pole tent by the use of a mast and cable system in the tent top.
